THE CICADA AND THE ANT Book 1 Fable 1 (LA CIGALE ET LA FOURMI)With the help of two sceneshifters, La Fontaine sets out to present and narrate the fables. The sceneshifters thus perform it with puppets, according to what La Fontaine has previously instructed them to do. But on some occasions, either to help a character, or on others because they are not happy with an ending, they get involved of their own accord.

WHAT THE CRITICS HAVE WRITTEN:
It’s a careful show of one of the best Catalonian puppeteers, Carles Canellas, which has done a meritorious adaptation of seven fables of La Fontaine.
The IEI courtyard was too small for the large number of people who wanted to see the Rocamora show.
